(Paperback - Reprint)
Sandy Huntington-Ackerman didn't expect life to be a free ride (even though his parents are multimillionaires). He certainly didn't expect his two money-grubbing uncles to try to kill his family with a drugged birthday cake. Luckily for Sandy, the cake only sends his parents (and their pet chicken, Attila) into a coma. Along with a loyal butler and a wacky nurse from the asylum next door, Sandy is determined to bring the scoundrels to justice-if he's not the next to go! This "rollicking screwball-comedy of a story" (The Horn Book) is just right for fans of Holes and The Westing Game.

March 04, 2006: I loved this book. I wasn't quite sure I would at first because of the title and the book cover and the summaries I read, but when I got into I just couldn't put it down. It was really funny, exciting, and over all a lot of fun to read!

January 15, 2006: I thought this book was random. I had to read something for school and apparently I had gotten stuck with this choice until the next 9 weeks. To me: it was slow, and a bit boring. Those are just my ideas, though I checked it out at the library. So you should possibly do that before considering buying it. Otherwise its up to you.
