November 11, 2009: C.L. Wilson's "Tairen Soul" continues as strong as ever and has not faded in my view. The characters remain interesting and there are some very unusual events. I am looking forward to book #4.

September 03, 2009: Ellysetta Baristani, the truemate in question, is a humble daughter of a Celerian woodcarver and his wife. The couple had found and kept this abandoned child, whom they love despite her looks and strange fits. It's a very long book, going into all the history and relationships between the Fey, the Celerians, and the evil plots of the Mages, especially against Elly who never should have been 'lost' and who possesses very strong powers (which she doesn't know about). But one thing can be said of Fey Warriors: they certainly do protect, defend, and love their truemates. Contrary to all the glowing blurbs, I found this tedious to read.
