Publishers Weekly

The winsome feathered fellow first introduced in Little Quack returns in a board book edition and in a third hardcover companion book, Little Quack's Bedtime by Lauren Thompson, illus. by Derek Anderson. PW said of the debut book, "Anderson's depiction of the adorable ducklings, working up their courage to join their fuzzy siblings will keep toddlers coming back." And the feathered quintet is every bit as adorable in Bedtime as, one by one, Mama dispels their fears of the night. Copyright 2005 Reed Business Information.

May 28, 2007: My 3 year old grandaughter loves this book. I even enjoy the illustrations especially when Little Quack hides under the blanket or runs behind his mother. It's great to read before bedtime and explains all of the sounds and visions of the night. A great read to snuggle with your little one.

February 26, 2005: My husband & I bought this book to read to our unborn child (due Aug 05) and we both fell in love with the story and illustrations after the first reading. It is a great story that I am sure all children and parents can relate to; those creepy noises that you hear at night that make the imagination go into overdrive and the calm reason of parents assuring their startled child that it is nothing to fear. I am sure this will be a favorite read for many, as it is and will continue to be for us.
