      Synopsis

Little Miss Smarty-Pants is the true coming-of-age tale of a wallflower-turned-wiseass. Her journey from a dateless, geeky Barry Manilow fan in high school to a butt-kicking warrior begins in the 1980s when she meets her gay boyfriend in college. Their once-in-a-lifetime friendship is just the spark she needs to blossom into a sarcastic, sassy smarty-pants.

Her experiences take her far from her sheltered, suburban childhood as she discovers a world of gay bars, drag queens, disastrous blind dates, deadbeat boyfriends, and the freakiest co-workers on the planet.

Dr. Love, Balloon Animal Guy, Malcolm the Super Freak, The Tuscaloosa Turd, Joe Trailer, and Closet Girl are just a few of the characters who inhabit, and forever change, the world of Little Miss Smarty-Pants.

May 05, 2008: This is a coming-of-age, self-discovery, of a shy, geeky, sheltered suburban girl. Upon entering college, she meets a gay boy, Jack, and they become best friends. He introduced her the gay side of Chicago. Even dressing her in male clothing in order to get her into the gay bars he frequented. Through him she becomes self-assured, sassy, and able to 'kick ass.' This is an outstanding read.
