Biography

EMMA WOOD ROUS has taught for twenty-eight years at every level from preschool to college, most recently at Oyster River High School in Durham, New Hampshire, where she received three outstanding performance awards and has developed and taught "Literature and the Land" for fifteen years. She has been a curriculum developer for the Education Development Center, a CBE National Fellow for Independent Study in the Humanities, an ITV Master Teacher, and a workshop presenter on nature writing.
