Unbelievably realistic!by Anonymous

June 02, 2007: At one point while reading this book, I went back and looked for the copyright date to be sure he wrote this before 9/11. Unbelievable that he had the foresight to envision what could 'possibly' happen. There were times when the book seemed to drag a little, but after the first 1/3 of the book, it was getting hard to put it down at night. I loved the fact that John and Kate end up together, although I find it unrealistic that she took his marriage proposal seriously. Reminds me of the marriage proposal in Jerry McGuire. Either way, loved the book!

Did anyone else think about this book on 9/11?by Anonymous

January 11, 2003: I started reading this book but then decided to put it down as I was traveling to Israel. The hijaking scenes were a little too realistic. A few months after I returned from my trip I finished reading the book. Then, a few weeks after that I was in FL on a business trip with my husband when the 9/11 attacks occured. Over and over again this book popped into my mind. The book was so similar to the events that had happened - it was startling and unsettling. I kept telling my husband how erie and strange it was. I even emailed Nelson about it. A week later I arrived back home (Denver, CO) and was scouring the newspapers when I came across an article "Author Says Truth Worse Than Fiction". It was all about this book and how similar it was to the events that actually happened!
