March 09, 2009: Ever since I bought the book, I have found myself branching out, with confidence, to colors that hadn't graced my closet in years. Gradually, the blacks and grays are being edged out with fuschia, saffron yellow, teal green - all to many compliments. I found it especially helpful in working with women in their mid-twenties since it's all too easy to greet the business world, either clad in black like too young dowagers or in skin-clashing shades of hot pink on the fair or burgundy on the olive-skinned. Rather than jam it down anybody's throat, I just keep the book on my desk and let people browse it. The system works - and I love the section on style. Are you classic? Bohemian? I only wish there were more pictures of each combination and larger color samples.
