The New York Times bestselling movie guide from a household name in film criticism
Consulted more frequently than ever in this era of Netflix as the resource, Leonard Maltin's New York Times bestselling film guide remains the most complete, most reliable, and most authoritative resource for movie reviews. Including nearly 17,000 films, the 2009 edition features more than 300 new entries, a completely updated index of leading actors and directors, and Leonard's personal favorite films.
The single most important reference book in every home.

May 26, 2009: For any movie lover, this book is THE one to have for most any information on movies. Although one's own opinion may differ sometimes from Leonard's reviews, he always writes well and includes great detail. The only complaint (plea) is to publish these books as a two volume set so the print could be bigger. Otherwise, as the number of included movies grows each year, the book becomes larger, harder to read, and less manageable.
