Both the author and publisher have successfully mastered the creation of this informative textbook which will clearly lessen the challenge for those practicing in this specialized field. January 17, 2008: This is the best book that I had read on LNC. I would recommend this title to the RN that is serious about pursuing this complex career. The table of contents is very comparable to those of commercial thousand dollar courses. It took me a couple of months to study the material, but the information is easily 'digested'. I consider it to be the standard for LNC home/ self guided education. Felt very confident and ready to start my career. Basically, ANY book written by Ms Iyer, though more costly, is worth its weight in gold.
