August 22, 2009: What a compelling read! This novel reads like an extraordinarily good journalistic account of the devastation of New York City by a hurricane that few people believed could strike there. The reader is drawn in quickly, and the story doesn't let go - even after the book is finished. You won't listen to hurricane warnings in the same way again!

August 18, 2009: Landstrike is the thrilling fictional account of Hurricane Nicole's rampage across the Atlantic and right up the Hudson River in New York City. Whether or not you're a fan of TWC's "It Could Happen Here," you will be bowled over by the believable detail of this hurricane's destructive path, and the characters who fight to keep it from getting worse. The account of the hurricane's aftermath is just as compelling. It is obvious the author has done his research--he's got it right all the way!
