May 07, 2005: After my brother coaxed me into reading the first book, 'Kingdom's Dawn,' I couldn't stop! This story is just as exciting as the previous one, maybe even more. Leinad is no longer the struggling teenager from the first book, he is now a young man who knows his purpose, and his purpose now is to free the people captured by Lord Farios and forced to work under him as his slaves, including Leinad's friend Tess. Leinad's king came to him when he was wounded and weary and prepared him for this moment, but is it enough? How can one man defeat the stubborn Farios and lead the slaves to freedom? This book had me on the edge of my seat almost the entire time, I read it in one day. I highly recommend 'Kingdom's Hope' for anyone who loves adventure and sword fighting.
