If he could really see the future . . .
Logan Sinclair is nothing but a fraud. Or at least that's what Inspector Andie Darling, undercover on the streets of San Francisco, is determined to prove. Sure, the sexy Scotsman may say he's a clairvoyant, but Andie's never believed in second sight—or love at first sight. So why does his sweet talk turn her into a lovestruck fool?
He'd know that Andie Darling always gets her man . . .
Getting the goods on the elusive con man would get Andie out of boring Vice and into Homicide, yet all she can think about is getting into Logan's arms. But juggling her job and her heart leaves her with little time to protect herself from a crazed killer hot on her heels. Logan would love to help Andie—and get closer to her—but charm might not be enough to save them now . . .
Marianne Stillings has loved stories with happy endings since she was three years old and her mother read her The Little Golden Book of The Ugly Duckling. Originally from California, these days she lives in the Pacific Northwest, where shes the single mom of two fantastic daughters, and where she takes shelter from the rain by writing happy endings of her own.

December 05, 2008:
If I could, I'd give the book 3.5 stars...
Marianne Stillings writes contemporary romances with a sassy, feel-good kick. Her latest, "Killer Charms" is about a female cop assigned to go undercover and con a conman. But it only takes a few days before the cop realizes there's something 'special' about this conman and something wrong with her boss instead. Then, there's the dreams she's been having lately about a woman who lived 100 years ago...
I enjoyed most of the book, but it just felt 'pat' after the halfway point. I already knew what would happen (which did happen) and who ALL the bad guys were. Now I don't think I'm a genius, so that means other readers will probably be able to do the same thing. That decreases my enjoyment in the read. Might just be me, but that's my opinion.
For a light romance that doesn't require a lot of thought, this one might just fit the bill.
I Also Recommend: Damsel in This Dress, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evie.
