    Biography

When Meghan Regan-Loomis discovered that she was pregnant with twins, she searched fruitlessly for the book that would explain how to manage the logistics and challenges of caring for two babies at once. Discovering that it didn't yet exist, she vowed that she would figure out the answers and one day write the book herself. A veteran high school English teacher, she specializes in American literature, Shakespeare, Milton, and, more recently, How to Burp Two Babies at Once. A competitive tennis player who received her undergraduate degree from Kenyon College, she lives near Boston with her family.

March 19, 2009: I found this book to be very cynical and impractical. I think that the joy of pregnancy and motherhood is completely over looked by this book that constantly suggests that you use everyone who cares about you for manual labor and you have to become a nazi to survive raising twins. The book also assumes that you will be in a position to hire additional help, such as a night time nanny or a full time assistant. It also made me feel that trying to raise my babies with just my husband was completely naive and impractical, but I am pretty sure that there are plenty of families who can raise their children lovingly and effectively as a family.

December 28, 2008: This is a VERY practical book- lots of tips that you can really use!
In addition it is FUNNY!! And if there's one thing one needs with twins, it's laughter to recharge!!
Buy more than one as you'll not want to lend yours out but will want to give to others, even those with only one babe at a time!
