      Synopsis

In this standard work on sign language for the deaf, over 1500 signs have been clearly illustrated and are grouped by chapter into their natural categories. Line drawings and step-by-step descriptions of hand positions aid rapid learning.

November 27, 2007: Sign language is a living language- it changes just the same as English language. I'm not going to touch on dialects. I recommend this book as a starting point and then proceed from there. Perfect for everyday general use if your contacts with deaf is very low.
