May 29, 2008: I've read this book at least five times, and I enjoy more every time I finish it. The ending is enjoyable and satisfying, and you feel Jeremy's emotions when he lets go of his little dragon, now a big girl all grown up. Read it-you won't regret it!!

March 07, 2008: ille's JEREMY THATCHER, DRAGON HATCHER stands out as one of the most fanciful and imaginative stories that I have ever enjoyed. The true magic in this book - outside of Elives's Magic Shop - rests in Coville's ability to mix reality with the realm of dragons and magic. As a teacher I have been able to share this tale with many years of enthusiastic students. Super for 4th - 6th graders!
