July 09, 2001: As with SM101, Jay has done an excellent job of writing about this topic. As a long time 'bondage enthusiast,' Jay certainly had a wealth of knowledge to draw from. And in fact, he has put a huge amount of bondage info into a concise, and available form. It contains over 200 pages of pure rope and bondage knowledge, written by someone obviously very passionate and knowledgeable about this topic. If you are a 'bondage fanatic,' just play at it on occasion or somewhere in between, this book is well worth having.

May 31, 2000: This is a good introduction to the 'why', 'what', 'how', 'when' and 'who' of erotic bondage -- this is not for those interested in non-consensual interactions! The introduction gives insight into Jay Wiseman and how he wrote this book. The knots section is fairly detailed but since I tend to be a bit 'lazy' I had to flip back and forth between this section and the 'positions' section. The position section could use a few more pictures but served as good inspiration for someone with experience and a good enough description for the novice to follow with some patience and time. A must read book for those who want to do BDSM where the 'B' is going to play any role.
