      What Were They Thinking?by Cicada

July 25, 2009: I was seduced into buying this map by the name Michelin and all that name invokes. This is NOT, however, the map to take on a road trip in your little rental car. When opened, it is the size of a Volkswagen! It is enormous and cannot be fully opened by your passenger seat navigator. That being said, it is a great map for planning your itinerary and for framing - if you have a really big wall - as a memento of your fantastic trip to Ireland.

May 30, 2009: Just returned from Ireland. I had three different maps and our group had 2 GPS units. This map was better than the other maps and the GPS! It has the place names in both English and Gaelic, a big plus in areas where the signs are only in Gaelic. The only drawback is its size, but that is what makes it so accurate. We drove around the entire coast of Ireland, and this map pointed us in the right direction!
