November 15, 2009: While the text is informative from a "historical context", because the text was published in 2002, a number of monetary and fiscal policy issues, as well as the economic downturn (2007 to current) have necessitated the need for a "revised" edition. In my opinion, this would greatly enhance the value of this academic source.
