This book is clearly written and covers its topics comprehensively. The purpose is to describe the procedures, equipment, and supplies used in infection control. The primary audience is dental students, dental assisting students, and dental hygiene students. The book features micro-organisms involving infectious diseases, supplies, procedures, equipment involved in infectious control, and sterilization techniques. September 12, 2009: This company really knows how to get to the point. I've purchased many textbooks from Evolve and the chapters are always short and full of important information (no fluff), and good visuals. The review questions at the end of the chapters are great for self-testing...just wish they included the answers.
