August 22, 2008: This is an excellent book whose title may send prospective readers away. The subjects are not infamous- they are among the first of our American hero's. So many predicates for the court system, the Constitution, our 'free press' concepts were formed and defended by these men. The text should ne required reading for all American History and Jo. students IMHO-after somebody changes the title. Wait a minute-keep the title and require it at the high school honors/freshman college level. It would click there. Bad boys jazzing on the graffiti guns-it would fly off the shelves. August 20, 2008: Some titles can be esoteric in their knowledge and approach. Almost to the point where you don't retain anything of what you just read. This book was amazing. Wonderfully writtern and interesting stories that helped shape the country. I prefer it over many other similiar titles.
