      Bill Watterson is the creator of Calvin and Hobbes, one of the most popular and well-regarded cartoon strips of the twentieth century. Calvin and Hobbes appeared in newspapers from November 1985 until Watterson"s retirement in 1996.

      November 21, 2009: These are (in my opinion) one of the greatest comics ever made! Calvin is a brat of a child who acts smart but he is still just a little kid and hobbes is a stuffed tiger who calvin pretends is real. It is one of those comics you would see in the paper a long time ago. I like it more than Garfield.
