This love story will please all who like love stories. It all sounds so sexy—In Your Room—but the catch is that the boy and the girl aren't in the same room together. (At least, not until the end of the novel.) Molly Hill is LA all the way. She is rather shy and quiet, but lives and breathes fashion. She is taken aback when her mother remarries and the parents decide to swap homes with a family in Boulder, Colorado for the summer. Charlie Richards hates the thought of leaving the mountains and his mountain bike, but has no choice but to go with his two moms and his younger sibs to LA when the decision is made. How Molly and Charlie discover each other by living in the other's room, and through numerous e-mail communications, is the stuff of good romance. Charlie makes friends with Molly's friend Celeste, who shows him the rich, wild side of LA, while Molly works at a secondhand clothing store in Boulder and learns to have faith in her design talent. With the encouragement of Charlie, long distance, Molly starts riding his mountain bike and discovering the beauty of the Rockies, all the while building up her own strength and courage. There is misunderstanding, of course, and near disaster, but all's well that ends well.
