    Laura Numeroff is the author of many books for young readers in addition to the If You Give... series, including The Chicken Sisters and Laura Numeroff's 10-Step Guide to Living with Your Monster. She lives in Los Angeles, CA where she loves to ride horses, read biographies, and play with her pets. A portion of her royalties will be donated to First Book, a national nonprofit organization that promotes children's literacy.

    October 18, 2008: Of course, in the the series "If You Give", one event sets off a chain reaction of fun and chaos. The best of the series in my opinion, although I enjoy them all. That mouse is so cute!!

    I Also Recommend: Ladybug Baby Bug.

    September 13, 2006: I fell in love with this story when my daughter was in preschool (she is now in her 4th yr. of college) and it has remained my all-time favorite children's book! There is also an adorable mouse doll that can be bought to accompany this book.
