July 06, 2005: I don't generally like short story format, but I found this book to be better than I expected. Just be warned that some of the stories are graphic and can be disturbing, so be prepared. It must have been quite empowering for the women to tell their stories since, as children, they likely kept it a secret.

October 18, 2004: While reading this, I could not stop crying. I knew exactly what these women went through because I went through it as well. I cried because I wish this didn't happen and I wished it wasn't happening to someone out there.
