November 14, 2005: I have read all of Gerri Hill's wonderful stories and Hunter's Way is my favorite, with Dawn of Change running a very close second. The story was extremely well written, attention was paid to details and the plots were intricate. I was deeply involved with the main characters, Tory and Sam, and the other characters played special roles throughout the story. The ending was quite a surprise...but I won't give it away. You will take the book to the bathroom, to work, on the train, walking down the street...EVERYWHERE - curiosity will not let you put it down! Gerri Hill is a fascinating author.

September 11, 2005: I've read many lesbian romance novels in the past year, and Hunter's Way is at the top of my favorite's list. Gerri Hill is a superb writer who develops wonderfully realistic characters who not only fall in love, but also exist within an exciting plot. The main characters, detectives on a police force, are paired together as partners on the trail of a serial killer. As they work the case, Samantha and Tori grow closer despite the friction present at their initial pairing. Their love story is heart felt and touching, and the story's plot takes them on an adventure that is not only compelling, but also, tragic. The addition of unexpected events and the telling of how both Sam and Tori deal with them is what makes the novel a great read.
