the harmonica can make you more playful (which is the WHOLE POINT of this book)
"We should all stop and smell the roses, but as Sam Barry notes in this cheery and inspiring little book, stopping to make a little music is just as rewarding and much more fun-and you can do it indoors! A wonderful read."
-Mitch Albom, author of For One More Day
"This book makes starting out on the harmonica fun-and makes life a little more fun, too. Harmonically yours,"
-Lee Oskar, world-renowned harmonicist
As a former minister, reporter, activist, bohemian, writer and artist, Sam Barry knows a great many things about life-and playing the harmonica. Barry currently works as a marketing and promotions manager at HarperOne and plays the harmonica in The Rock Bottom Remainders with his brother Dave. He and his partner, Kathi Kamen Goldmark, live in San Francisco.
