March 31, 2005: This is an ok book to read for someone who is going into the business with a closed mind. Very low level for the novice investor pretty much common sense things discussed in this book.

March 12, 2005: A good introduction to investing in real estate. Very readable. However, the author suggests you start off with simple one bedroom houese and then spends a lot of time talking about other types of real estate investments. The author also just touches on management firms. If you are like me and are new to the field, you probably are interested in using a management firm.
