January 05, 2005: The author is one of the most respected real estate investor in the nation and one of its best teachers, but this book is nothing more than an info commercial for all of his many investment courses. Save your money unless you know nothing at all about investing in real estate. If you are an absolute novice this book will give you some concepts but it will not give the methods to execute those concepts, that part is in the well hyped programs the author sells.

October 01, 2004: Unlike many of the genre, this is a hard core, in the trenches, report from a guy who still actively practices what he preaches. The book is a great overview of a few solid ways to make serious money quickly without risking your life's savings. LeGrand outlines the errors he made getting to where he is to keep you from making the same mistakes, gives clear concise directions on how to start from scratch with no money, and makes it clear that sitting on your duff will not make you money in any business. Highly recommended for the content and the list of resources. The resource list itself is worth many times the cost of the book.
