Finally, what may be the last screenwriting book a writer will ever need to buy!
No screenwriting hopeful should be without this solid information from a professional in the field<-->if only to spare some agony to readers such as Flinn who must wade through zillions of screenplays written by people who don't do their homework on the basics. June 11, 2003: Those words being: simple, concise, and informative. It's a well-known fact that screenwriters hate to read, so why go and write a long book about the profession? That's the idea that the author had when writing this gem of a guide. When I started screenwriting, I knew what I wanted to do, but this book helped me start put it well into form. I recommend this to any aspiring screenwriter.. it's imperative you go and buy it soon. (However, unlike Robert McKee's 'Story,' this novel goes on little about the mythical and theoretical aspects of the field. Yet those are not applicable until the basics are acquired here, in 'How NOT to Write a Screenplay.')
