Synopsis

You probably know that as you age, your hormone levels decline. But what you probably don't know is that hormone levels can be restored using natural, bioidentical hormones that eliminate associated
fatigue, weight gain, moodiness, memory loss, and a weakened
immune system. Too often, women are prescribed drugs
that treat these symptoms and not the core problem:
hormonal imbalance. Now, in his acclaimed eight-point
program that has improved the lives of countless
patients at his Houston wellness clinic, Dr. Steven F.
Hotze reveals what women of all ages can do to get
relief and promote lifelong hormonal health through a
combination of lifestyle changes, good nutrition,
exercise, and natural hormone replacement. In clear,
nontechnical language, he addresses: - the important
differences between chemical hormones and bioidentical
hormones - common, related health problems,
including allergies, yeast overgrowth, and adrenal
fatigue - balanced nutrition - vitamin and mineral
supplements - and more.

HORMONES RULE OUR LIFE! WOMEN AND MEN!by BabyvetsWife

June 07, 2009: At 43 years of age I was having "hormonal issues" and have been researching bioidenticals on my own. This book was recommended by a chance acquaintaince and I now tell my friends about it. My mother-in-law and father-in-law have both read it as it covers thyroid and nutritional issues (hormone related). I have since taken a simple saliva test from my compounding pharmacist and have received what I need AND I cannot believe the difference. I did not realize how depressed I was and how depleted my energy had become until I started getting "normalized". I read about estrogen dominance in this fantastic book and realized that after 2 children and a tubal ligation, I had been put in this state of body. I highly recommend reading this book. For all those that know something is up with you and your doctor can't tell you what it is, this book may hold some of the answers on your search to getting better. It's really ashame that our medical industry is not more interested in getting us healthy instead of prescribing the many medications that mask our symptoms and cause new problems. The body is meant to be in a state of health and bioidenticals could be such a simple solution, BUT they can not be patented by companies because they are something the body makes on it's own, when we're balanced. Just get this book.

August 14, 2008: I read this book and got the answers I needed to pursue the path to wellness via natural hormones. It is written in an easy to understand format that explains in real language (not doctor-speak) about the way all the hormones in your body affect the way you feel and how to achieve the balance you need to feel like yourself again. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is considering hormone replacement therapy or who plain old doesn't feel well because of 'old age'.
