All I got from this book is that America will become a utopia, not a welfare state, if we make every illegal alien and their families legal citizens of the U.S. and start giving them entitlements. This has got to be the most bias book I have ever read.

Mr. Rivera is not only an American but a Hero to the Hispanic race.With bravery and without no regards to what people might think of him. He has written a Book that states the truth .Our ancestors were here in North America before the White Anglos as we know them now came here.White America wants to steal our human rights ,spanish language,religion and our mother Mexico.But it will never happen .........Besides this english language that is taught in puplic schools is not even a language African and BRITISH SPEAK TRUE ENGLISH .Anglo American is a Hillbilly taught language.....

It's an interesting read, but it only tells one side of the issue of illegal immigration. Geraldo has done his research, but only tells his bias acquired facts on illegal immigration. I read this and Michelle Malkin's 'Invasion' and have drawn my own conclusion about illegal immigration. The one thing that this book is lacking is another view and other facts. I would have given this book another star if he would have told both sides of illegal immigration.

FINALLY THERE IS A BOOK THAT SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT ON ILLEGAL HISPANIC IMMIGRATION IN THIS COUNTRY -- IT IS 'HIS PANIC' His Panic: Why Americans Fear Hispanics in the U.S.. The book sets the record straight on hispanics and illegal immigration in this country and dispells numerous myths about immigration. For example the book establishes that: 1. no hispanic (illegal or otherwise) has ever been associated with a terrorist act in this country 2. the crime rate is ACTUALLY LOWER among illegal immigrants than the rest of the US population (see coincidentally Today's Wall Street Journal) 3. Puerto Ricans ARE actually United States Citizens and 4. All of the 9/11 highjackers entered this country legally with visas issued by INS (the predecessor to the Department of Homeland Security). I recommnend this book without reservation to anyone who wants to be informed on the most volitile issue of our time. By the way, I actually read the book and found it to be a great read.
