September 11, 2008: I really enjoyed this book. I find this series to be very original. I am a bit disappointed that Jo didn't remain how she was (not to give too much away) but it was still good and held my attention nonetheless. David and Jo have got to be one of the most tortured couples I've ever read about. I also hated what happened to Lewis and Jonathan by the end. I'm looking forward to seeing what horrible destruction Kevin will cause.

May 01, 2007: I bought the whole series cause I love the idea of people being able to play with the earths elements. Well I read the first book and it took me forever to get through it! Read the first book see how you like it then try the other ones. They are all just the same. My sister loved them though so it all depends on the reader.
