February 23, 2009: reat read, a dark tale of love and loss with totally believable characters, and ghosts of all sorts from different eras. Everything came together so brilliantly. The story went from fun and lighthearted to truly frightening. Initially, I was intrigued by the cover art. Then reading the synopsis I decided to give it a try, and bought the book. Haunted Lily was scary, creepy and so wonderfully intense it kept me on the edge throughout with so many unexpected twists and turns. A fast paced page turner, I loved the fact that the story spans over different decades and takes the reader on a wild ride. I was hoping this book would be scary and was not disappointed. I found myself going through so many emotions, not just being scared, but really feeling the characters emotions. I found myself reading late into the night, unable to put the book down. That to me is a good story. I have already passed onto to several friends.
The Varton Muntz character gave me shivers. Looking forward to the next book in the series, hurry, hurry,I'll be waiting on pins and needles.I Also Recommend: Misery, Bite, The Scarlet Letter (Barnes & Noble Classics Series).
