Synopsis

Groth-Marnat's (U. of California-Santa Barbara; Pacifica Graduate Institute, Santa Barbara) text, suitable as both a reference and instructional guide, replicates the sequence practitioners follow when performing a psychological evaluation. The fourth edition includes a brief introductory chapter on the third edition of the Wechsler Memory Scales (WMS-III); a chapter on brief instruments for treatment planning, monitoring, and outcome assessment (Symptom Checklist 90-R, Beck Depression Inventory, State Trait Anxiety Inventory); and updated research on all assessment techniques.
