This is a book that I read again and again. It gives exceptional advice and serious academic background.

Very practical and easy to read. It gets to the point and has lots of great advice. It might seem overwhelming at first, but it is layed out well. The first part of the first chapter is slightly boring with percentages and such but the rest is great!

This book has the intent to increase the awareness of parents, teachers and others working with gifted children particularly to recognize that these children and their families have special emotional needs and opportunities that are quite often overlooked and, thus, neglected. As in other jobs that require management roles, we have to know what we are doing!
