This is the book of choice by an entire school. I saw that all the teachers use this book, and the principal set dates for the teachers to be at a certain stage of the book. Reading & Technology are so important. This will help me form great reading mini-lessons.

I was given this book to read by a curriculum resource teacher in an elementary school. She told me to memorize this book, it will be the most important book I ever read. The CRT also told me that I will need almost all the information in this book when I go for a job interview. I am purchasing my own coping today!!!! It is great!!

Biography

Irene C. Fountas, a professor in the School of Education at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, has been a classroom teacher, language arts specialist, and consultant in school districts across the nation and abroad.
