Great cover artwork but the author needs a little helpby DavidStuart

September 14, 2009: Ben Counter is a decent author but The Grey Knights Omnibus lacks the skill that a reader of 15 years old can appreciate. In one instance Counter explains several (3x) times the action at the end of a chapter that a GOOD author would have explained once.

If you want to experience a new element to the Warhammer 40k universe, buy The Grey Knights Omnibus. The three different, though not very different, stories contained in The Omnibus are entertaining and if you ignore Counter's rookie mistakes, you will enjoy the series. If you can't stand authors jumping on stage before they've learned to write, save your money for more models on the table.

August 22, 2009: Book introduced the Grey Knight chapter of the space marines to me in a big way. Lots of fun
