(Paperback - REV)
New York Times best selling author, Brad Meltzer puts his own spin on DC Comics' adventurous archer, Green Arrow. Embarking on a journey through his past, the Green Arrow reflects on his decisions and actions as he goes about retrieving items of sentimental value from his past. He now must prepare for the future with his estranged son, Connor Hawke and longtime lover the Black Canary.
No stodgy legal thrillers here: Brad Meltzer’s exhaustively researched, swiftly paced, enormously inventive novels feature young, whip-smart characters who find themselves in high places -- which means they have a long way to fall. The mix, and the suspense, make for an intoxicating read.

September 27, 2004: This trade paperback collects the issues of Brad Meltzer's run on Green Arrow that laid the conceptual groundwork for his excellent 'Identity Crisis' miniseries. It is not heavy on slam-bang action, but the dialogue is very well written and the characters are given unexpected depth--a nice surprise and all too uncommon in superhero comics. If you are curious about a reflective peek inside the mind, motivations, and personal life of a superhero, 'Archer's Quest' will be a treat.
