July 25, 2004: Golden retrievers are my favorite type of large breed dog. Although, I've never owned one and was looking for more information. This book is awesome!!!! It covers all issues from choosing the right puppy for your lifestyle to training and correction of bad behaviors. Not to mention many other things about the breed itself. Such as, goldens in particular have issues with weight (wanting to eat everything in sight) to having allergies. I found this book to be extremely informative and helpful especially because I'm looking into getting a service dog. People should consider bying this book for any golden lover in their lives. It was a great and fast read.
