October 26, 2009: Dr. Westphal's analysis of existential phenomenology makes heideggerian and husserlian phenomenology applied to religion rather accessible to the average reader, although having some background in these philosophers will help a great deal. Using husserlian bracketing and intentionality Dr. Westphal gives an exciting analysis of what it means to be a religious believer and how that applies phenomenologically to the individual. Dr. Westphal's work is a real stepping stone to the undeveloped area of continental philosophy of religion.

I Also Recommend: Being and Time, The Problem Of Evil & The Problem Of God, Heidegger's Being and Time.
