May 10, 2009: Most of my social activities revolve around food. Once diagnosed as gluten intolerant I wandered around my usual market stops in a numbed state, bleary eyed from label reading. My worst fear was that all of my relationships would change and my love affair with food was over. I bought a few books, all helpful, but this is the one that gave me comfort and helped guide me in how to preserve my dining centered relationships.
While I cannot expect to enjoy the same treatment as the author while dining out,(becaue of her celebrity and expertise), her advice with ordering is interesting.I particularly enjoyed her Thanksgiving Dinner story. I could feel the love.Reader Rating:
