November 26, 2009: This was a great read. After the twilight series I was hooked on vampires and have been through 3 or 4 different series. The characters are relatable and the way the vampires are portrayed is definitately refreshing. A different story line from usual romanticism of vamps in many other series.

November 01, 2009: I really enjoyed this book and I loved the characters! Eve is a girl you want to befriend because she's cool. Shane is hot, has that cocky, saracastic, and carefree air, add the protective vibe (not in a parent kind of way)...and you have everything that makes a man irrestible. Michael has a mature and responsible side, yet is sexy and hot and the easy banter he has with the rest...makes him irrestible as well. Although some parts seems to be a little too contrived, the story as a whole is 4 star worthy. Glass Houses was one of those books that I was able to enjoy the whole thing...not just racing to the end to find out what happens and dutifully reading through the dull points. I don't recall any dull parts of the story. It piqued my interest from the beginning and kept it until the last page.
