Halloween is the biggest kid holiday there is! But for babies and toddlers, it can be terrifying. Older kids can still have chills and thrills, but this book will also give their younger brothers and sisters the treat of feeling safe. Schwartz, one of the greatest ghost story tellers in America, retold stories for young children. For beginning readers, Ghosts! is out in paperback too. These seven ghost stories are funny, spooky, easy to read, and tell a good tale.
More Reviews and RecommendationsAlvin Schwartz is known for a body of work of more than two dozen books of folklore for young readers that explore everything from wordplay and humor to tales and legends of all kinds. His collections of scary stories Scary Stories To Tell in the Dark, More Scary Stories To Tell in the Dark, Scary Stories 3, and two I Can Read Books, In a Dark, Dark Room and Ghosts! are just one part of his matchless folklore collection.

A problem that occurs in this story is a cat wants a girl to be friends, but the cat is a ghost. I?d recommend this book to my friends.
