February 07, 2010: I had heard of Kristy Robinett a few years back, before this whole 'psychic' craze came up and I was intrigued by the whole experience of it all. Now understand that it's one thing to see Sylvia Brown on 'Montel' and another thing to actually see someone with that kind of psychic ability for an actual reading. Not knowing what to expect, I reluctantly saw her a couple of years ago for a psychic/medium reading and she quite literally blew me away! She was spot, dead-on right with everything and everybody that came through for me. I laughed, I cried and I was a believer and definitely hooked! Kristy was the real deal! It was definitely an awe inspiring experience! Since then, I've seen other so-called 'expert' or 'famous' psychics and they did not touch or come even remotely close to what I got and gained from Kristy. Needless to say, I'm most definitely a huge fan of the lady, so when I found out that she had written a book about ghosts in the Southeast Michigan/Detroit area, I was sure to pick up a copy. I was not disappointed. Kristy is a warm, down to earth person and it shows within her writing style. This book was informative, interesting and entertaining. Having attended her Haunted Hideaways event, it was fun to see many of the places that she took us along our travels. Definitely a must read if you love ghost stories. I'm now looking forward to what will, hopefully be, a sequel to this book. Hopefully this will come to fruition. I've also heard that Kristy is in the process of writing her memoirs, so I'm excited about that, too. If you look this genre of book, definitely pick this one up! Tell them 'AVD' sent ya!
