October 31, 2009: I really enjoyed reading this book, overall. As a 'seasoned' paranormal enthusiast and veteran reader of many ghostly haunting books, I found this one very reader-friendly. I highly recommend it for ghostly enthusiasts.
The format is such that the first quarter of the book overviews the basics of paranormal investigating and the methods/equipment used. The author also explains how the equipment works, and why it is used.I think this would be good for those new to the field or topic. The rest gave brief, chilling accounts of real, known hauntings here in America. It also includes photos and references for paranormal radio shows and websites. The only part I was disappointed with was some of the stories were too brief or too vague. It made for great reading during my hour lunch break. It's definitely worth the money for the quality and quantity of content.I Also Recommend: Beautiful Stranger.
