July 11, 2009: This is one of the best books of its genre...ever. Period.
Beautifully written, this book evokes chilling imagery. Just read it again after many years - even better now that I'm older and can understand nuance even more.Not for those who want movie-inspired scariness.Just a really great read.Reader Rating:

March 07, 2009: I got so into reading this book, my husband actually was able to scare the living daylights out of me. Excellent read -- especially if you are a horror fan.
