Whether you're still in college just starting your search,or have recently graduated this book will help kickstart you into the real world. The only thing is, you have to keep working at it. Reading the book can only take you so far. The tips, the checklists and the real world examples throughout the book are so helpful and have kept me motivated. Best of all, unlike some self help guides that are dry and boring, this book keeps the language light and up to date, which makes it very enjoyable to read. With activites to do, some that your parents know of and others that are new to the market, you can't go wrong.

I just purchased the book yesterday after I stumbled upon it on a book desk at Barnes & Noble on a slow day. I picked it up assuming it would only reiterate what I already knew but it turned out to be the complete opposite! It really reminds you to pay attention to detail and that being overprepared is a necessary, intelligent tool to success. It's an easy read 'read it within the day' and I found it really relatable 'I am in my last few courses of collegework' and the most important part about the book to me was that it takes some of the pressure off by keeping a youthful spirit in its advice. The book includes a lot of information that you can put to work immediately. it reminds you that it should be fun and to take your time. 'The last thing you want to feel in a job search is that it's just another class.' It encourages you to take the process and yourself seriously, but not at the expense of losing that youthful optimism. Good read.
