June 14, 2005: I bought this book for my children. My daughter who is in second grade, picked it up and read it aloud from beginning to end with such enthusiasm. The book gives you historical facts, and highlights some really interesting fun details as well. It made me want to read it. Plus she had a research project to do on courage, and she used what she read to write a magnificent paper. Hope you buy this book for all of the little students that you know. It will help to make them well-rounded little people.
