May 02, 2005: Everyone that reads this book visits the website that the author of this definitive book personally monitors. She helped get the Guinea Fowl Breeders Association started and attends the annual convention every year. The book covers all areas from egg to adult for those who keep the birds for pets or pest control and even discusses issues for those who raise the birds for the (gak!) table. Terminology, incubation, ordering keets, the brooder, nursey, acclimation, pecking order, male/female, housing, and neighbors are just some of the subjects covered. This is a better resource for backyard poultry of any kind than anything else I've read.
