March 13, 2008: This book was borrowed to me when I got my first dog. Even though I didn't hunt with her, she was an awesome dog. I liked the week by week progression. She loved to swim, was super energetic, great with kids, and listened to commands well. Unfortunately, her curiosity got the best of her. She went where she should have known not to go. She got hit by a car and we miss her dearly. She was almost 3 years old. I will definetely get this book for myself for my next dog, which will be soon. I might decide to go with Family Dog since I don't hunt.
